The WordPress font that is used in the official logo for the open-source content management system by the name of Mrs Eaves. It was designed and created by a font author known as Emigre.

At a single glance, it’s easy to see that the WordPress logo already has a professional air to it. WordPress makes use of sea blue and white as their main colorway for this logo, a color scheme associated with productivity. The font used by the WordPress logo is one that is known as Mrs Eaves, a serif font originally designed by Zuzana Licko in 1996. Mrs Eaves was meant to be a rendition of the famous Baskerville font that improved readability without sacrificing style. It’s also important to note that although the typeface used by WordPress uses all uppercase letters, both “W” and “P” are taller than all the other letters, emphasizing “Word” and “Press”.
