Romeo and Juliet Font

Romeo and Juliete is a play by William Shakespeare - possibly the most well known writer of all time. It's a classical tale of two young lovers who come from rival families in Verona, Italy. A modern movie adaptation called Romeo + Juliet was released in 1996 (set in Verona Beach, California) - it was directed by Australian Baz Luhrmann, and starred Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes.

Romeo is the name of the font created by Slot Digital Type which looks the same as the logo lettering used in the 1996 movie version. It contains the same distressed, thin, sans-serif letters as the original. Romeo Juliet by the Letterara font foundary is a replica of the font that was used in the 1968 movie version (directed by Franco Zeffirelli, starring Leonard Whiting and Olivia Hussey).
